DATA DELETION INSTRUCTIONS

Last updated August 9, 2026

Qreates lets you request deletion of your account data and any connected Instagram integration data. This page explains the available deletion paths for users and for Meta data deletion requests.

For more detail about how we collect and process data, please review our Privacy Policy.

Close Your Qreates Account

If you can access your Qreates account, you can immediately remove your workspace access and Qreates login from inside the app:

  1. Log in to your Qreates account.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Choose Close Account and follow the confirmation steps.

Account closure and a data-deletion request are separate steps. Closing promptly removes access and deletes your Qreates login. Your stored projects, messages, creative files, and managed-studio work remain in a restricted inactive account record. Closing does not submit or complete a data-deletion request, and we do not promise that a later account can be reconnected to retained work. Closing does not cancel a paid subscription; cancel it under Subscription & Billing first.

Delete Connected Instagram Data

If you connect Instagram to Qreates, we may store Instagram connection details, profile identifiers, synced media records, captions, engagement metadata, comments, and mirrored media needed to provide the integration.

When the integration is available, you can disconnect Instagram from the Instagram panel in Agents or from the Instagram style-reference section of your brand profile. Disconnecting removes the Instagram connection data, synced media records, and associated comments we store for that integration.

We also process valid Meta data deletion callbacks automatically. When Meta sends Qreates a valid deletion request, we begin removing the associated Instagram integration data and return a confirmation URL and code to Meta. If any part cannot be completed, the request remains pending instead of being reported as complete.

Request Deletion By Email

To request deletion of retained account and creative data, contact us by email before or after closing your account. If you cannot access your account, use the same path. Include the email address associated with your Qreates account and a short note that you are requesting data deletion. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

Confirmation And Retention

After a request is fulfilled, limited records may be retained where needed for payment or tax records, security and fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or proof that the request was completed. These limited records are not a reason to retain customer creative content for model training. Backups and third-party systems may follow separate retention cycles, so we do not describe account closure as instant full erasure. For Meta deletion callbacks, we keep a minimal deletion request-status record so Meta can check whether the request completed or remains pending.

Account closure preserves managed-studio briefs, working context, feedback, candidates, and delivered files in the inactive account record. If we fulfil an applicable verified deletion request, those creative materials and direct account links may be deleted or redacted while a limited commercial record remains to show that work was requested, paid for, released, delivered, and accepted. That record may include the version and time of the managed-service agreement acknowledgement, an internal delivered-asset reference, file format, byte size, content checksum, and a stable pseudonymous reference. These remain personal data where linkable and are protected accordingly.
